I have a house in Carlisle, which I love very much, I had it because my children were in the UK. They have unfortunately left the UK now, but I fell in love with the house and didn’t want to sell it.I’ve been looking for a way to keep it and thinking of Airbnb or similar and it just seemed really complicated.I saw an advert on a website for Cumbrian Cottage Holidays and contacted Gail and David and made a meeting with them.It was so easy, they took everything off my hands, which was amazing, and they have been dealing with all the bookings, cleaning and any maintenance there was. It’s been really well looked after and rented out now for 3 or 4 months. I am very happy about it, I couldn’t thank them enough and think they have done a fantastic job.

This is my first time owning a lodge and using it as a holiday let and Cumbrian Cottage Holidays have been excellent in advising how to make the lodge comfortable and welcoming for guests. They have a wealth of knowledge and experience and made the process very easy for me which has been especially important with me not being locally based.
