Accommodation was very clean and had all the equipment and basic start up shopping included. It was quite a steep walk back from Bowness in the evening, which would not suit impaired visitors. Area was very pleasant and quiet.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The bungalow had everything we needed. A lovely warm house.. bedrooms are tastefully decorated. Super king and king size beds brilliant. Our dogs loved the garden. It’s safe and they couldn’t get out. It’s so close to the beach about 300 metres via the footpath. Beautiful! Can’t wait to come back here!

Absolutely first class accommodation. Felt very welcomed with the fresh flowers, bottle of fizz and freshly made scones. How lovely is that? We had the best time in this beautifully appointed and well equipped cottage. Fantastic location and just on the edge of the great little village of Dalston. Loved the hot tub and that it was undercover so got plenty of use out of it. Can’t wait to go back.

Kirk House, LongtownKirk House was an absolute delight to have as our group base over the last four days. The accommodation was first class and our group were very comfortable during our stay. The surrounding countryside and scenery was astounding and Kirk House stood perfectly within this wonderful view. Very well equipped with everything a group of 7 would need. Sadly, the weather didn’t allow us to use the garden as much as we’d hoped, but that’s the weather for you. Very impressed, very pleased to have found Kirk House, and already making plans for another group visit next year. We can highly recommend booking Kirk House for a group or family break.

Myrtle Cottage, near CarlisleWe loved our stay at Myrtle Cottage. It was modern but felt cozy too. The hot tub was lovely to come back to after a day of exploring. Cotehill is a quiet charming village yet ideally placed near Carlisle and the M6. We cannot wait to come back!

Waters Edge, Talkin TarnThis is an amazing place to relax and unwind in comfort and luxury. There is everything you need in this holiday home to enjoy your stay and loads of local resources to make your stay what you want. The paths to explore around the tarn are perfect for a short walk and there are many longer ones nearby. Brampton is a great town to explore and collect some supplies, further Carlisle is a treat too
