Part-Time Administrator – Work From Home

We are looking for an experienced Part-Time Administrator to join our friendly team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of the Lake District, ideally with previous experience in self-catering holiday letting, tourism or hospitality.

This is a home-based position for a minimum of 16 hours per week, with weekend working on a fortnightly rota essential.

You will be dealing directly with cottage owners and guests, so exceptional customer service, excellent communication skills and a professional manner are essential. You should be organised, confident working independently and comfortable handling enquiries by telephone and email.

Key requirements:

• Minimum 16 hours per week

• Good knowledge of the Lake District
• Holiday letting, tourism or hospitality experience preferred

Housekeepers / Property Inspectors

Keswick & Northern Lake District
Windermere, Ambleside & Grasmere

We are looking for reliable and highly organised people with an exceptional eye for detail to help us maintain the high standards our guests and cottage owners expect.

You will work closely with our team of caretakers, checking holiday cottages following changeovers and helping to ensure every property is beautifully presented and ready to welcome arriving guests.

Responsibilities will include:

• Inspecting cottages following changeovers
• Ensuring properties have been cleaned and presented to a high standard
• Liaising with caretakers where improvements are required
• Carrying out routine property and compliance checks
• Checking inventories
• Reporting maintenance issues, damage or missing items
• Helping us maintain consistently high standards across our cottage portfolio

A full driving licence and your own vehicle are essential, as the role involves travelling between properties.

Handyman – Keswick & Ullswater

We are looking for a reliable and practical Handyman to look after holiday cottages throughout the Keswick and Ullswater areas.

No two days will be the same. You could be decorating a bedroom one day, replacing a toilet seat the next, pressure washing a patio or carrying out general repairs and maintenance.

You don’t need to be a specialist in every trade, but you should be practical, confident tackling a wide variety of household maintenance jobs and take pride in completing work to a high standard.

You will be required to work every Friday, with additional work available on an ad-hoc basis.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be available every Friday
• Be practical and able to turn their hand to a variety of maintenance tasks
• Be reliable and able to work independently
• Have good attention to detail
• Have their own vehicle and a full driving licence
• Be comfortable travelling throughout Keswick, Ullswater and the surrounding area

This position could particularly suit someone looking to semi retire or wanting part-time work.
