White Cross Bay Lodges
Nestled on the shores of Lake Windermere, midway between the bustling villages of Windermere and Ambleside, White Cross Bay has everything you need for an enjoyable holiday without leaving the park.
The resort has an entertainment and leisure centre (passes must be purchased) which incorporates a gym, indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, restaurant with take away option and bar that offers live entertainment throughout the season. The resort also has an outdoor playground for children to run around and make new friend, a small convenience store and laundrette for guests use.
Wander down to the lake where the resort has its own small harbour where you can moor your yacht, enjoy picnics by the lake or lakeside walks to Windermere or Ambleside.
For those wanting to explore the area without using the car, there are a number of regular buses that stop outside the park including the sightseeing open top bus.
The park offers a range of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom lodges, many accepting dogs and most have their own private hot tub on the decking.
