Neaum Crag Lodges

Skelwith Bridge is located 3 miles from Ambleside on the western side of Lake Windermere and 2 miles from Chapel Stile, the entrance to the Langdale Valley.  The area is a walkers and cyclists haven with both walking and cycling trails for all abilities.  The River Brathay runs through the village to the tumbling waterfall of Skelwith Force.  Cathedral Cave, Loughrigg Tarn and Elter Water are popular walks and easily reached from the village and reward visitors with breathtaking views and a refreshing dip in cool waters on summer days.

The park of Neaum Crag is a 5 minute walk from Skelwith Bridge.  Set in woodlands visitors can escape day to day living and reconnect with nature and enjoy woodland walks straight from the door.

Popular visitor attractions on the shores of Lake Windermere are a 10 minute drive away and the bustling towns of Ambleside, Grasmere, Hawkshead are all within a short drive.  The Langdale fells are easily reached and offer some of the best fells walks in the southern lakes.
