The market town of Brampton, just off the A69 Carlisle to Newcastle road, has a number of boutique shops, a hotel with restaurant and village pub where a warm welcome awaits.

Days out at Hadrians’s Wall, Lanercost Priory and the border city of Carlisle are easily accessible along with Talkin Tarn Country Park right on your doorstep there is plenty to see and do close by.

There are a number of golf courses close by with Brampton Golf Club which has some of the best golf in the area with views across Talkin Tarn and Carlisle Golf Club a short drive away.  The quieter country roads are perfect for exploring on bike, head to nearby Castle Carrock and Talkin where you can enjoy a refreshing drink from the village inns on route.

Carlisle is 10 miles away with Castle, Cathedral, museum, shopping centre, cinema and nightlife including bars and restaurants waiting to be discovered.

Days out in the Lake District are less than an hours drive away.
