Kendal Calling
Kendal Calling is Cumbria’s answer to Glastonbury!
Usually taking place the first weekend in August, Kendal Calling makes the much loved ancient Lowther Deer Park its home. Get your tickets early to avoid disappointment.

Keswick Film Festival
Keswick Film Festival celebrates some of the best and locally produced films across several venues across Keswick. Usually taking place the first weekend in March get your tickets and sit back and relax as you immerse yourself into the action of the big screen.

Taste Cumbria Festival
Taste Cumbria runs several festivals throughout the year in popular locations throughout Cumbria including Cockermouth, Maryport, Wigton and Carlisle. Look out for dates at Christmas for lots of festive treats.

Dalemain Marmalade Festival
The Dalemain Marmalade Festival celebrates marmalades from around the globe as the hunt for the best marmalade takes place annually. Entries are made early in the year with the festival taking place in April where visitors get to see and sample some of the winning citrus delights.

Keswick Convention
Taking place over the last 2 weeks of July and the 1st week of August, the convention aims to bring Christians together to inspire and equip Christians to love and live for Christ in his world.

Keswick Mountain Festival
Keswick Mountain Festival takes place annually in May in the fields on the shores of Derwentwater, is there a better setting for a festival? Celebrating all outdoor sports with a combination of live music and events it is a great way to try out a new sport or enter one of the organised events.

Cumberland Show

Solfest
Taking place over August bank holiday, Solfest celebrates live music creating a fun atmosphere for individuals and families in a carnival atmosphere.

Westmorland County Show
The Westmorland County Show takes place in September and celebrates all things agricultural with competitions, best in show and family fun.

Amblefest
Taking place at Amblesides Tap Yard, Amblefest combines music and ales, usually takes place the last weekend in September.

Penrith Winter Droving
In October as the clocks go back celebrate the Winter Droving, a magical celebration of rural life, food, fun, masquerade and fire.

Keswick Victorian Fayre
Held in early November the Victorian themed fayre, celebrates stalls, live entertainment and marks the start of the Christmas festivities in Keswick.

Kendal Mountain Festival
The Kendal Mountain Festival unites a global community of adventurers, storytellers, artists and filmmakers, who share a passion for nature, the environment, adventure and exploration. Taking place early November annually.

Ulverston Dickensian Festival
Taking place annually at the end of November, this Dickensian themed festival offers multiple performance stages, roving street performers, hot mulled wine, a town-full of wonderful stalls, and costume parades through the historic town streets.
