Great Ayton Lodges are located on the outskirts of the village, just a 2 minute drive from Roseberry Topping, a local landmark from which breathtaking views from the summit await. The site has everything needed to ensure a relaxing, away from it all break with an onsite bistro serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon teas and dinner, the bar is the perfect place to meet fellow holidaymakers and enjoy cocktails, wine and beers, the day spa offers pampering sessions to leave you rejuvenated and yoga and pilates classes take place in the barn.
The 8 Scandinavian log cabins and cottage complement their surroundings perfectly and offer spacious, luxurious accommodation for couples or families, each has its own hot tub and some include breakfast which can be enjoyed in the bistro or delivered to your door. Each accommodation is individually decorated and furnished to a luxurious standard.
Located on the edge of the park in an elevated area surrounded by greenery, The Nook Great Ayton is a luxuriously converted and extended 150 year old cottage. Attention to detail has ensured the cottage retains traditional features such as exposed stone walls that perfectly compliment the contemporary interior. Furnished and equipped to a high standard, the cottage is the perfect base for a family holiday exploring the beautiful countryside of North Yorkshire and the coast. With its own private patio and garden area guests can soak up the sunshine or stargaze whilst being soothed by the warming bubbles in the private hot tub.
The cottage is accessed by a number of steps but once inside is all on one level. The spacious and vibrant lounge has characterful brick walls and bifold doors opening up onto the terrace, relax around the Smart TV on the comfy seating. The kitchen is equipped to rustle up a family meal with electric oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine which can be enjoyed together at the dining table whilst planning tomorrows adventures. The master bedroom has a king size bed with bifold doors opening onto the terrace and an en-suite shower room. There is a further double and twin bedroom, each with an en-suite shower room.
All electric, bed linen, towels and dressing gowns included. Cot and highchair available. 2 well behaved dogs welcome. Parking is in the main car park. Terraced garden with table and chairs for al fresco dining and private hot tub.
The picturesque village of Great Ayton sits on the banks of the River Leven, on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors. There are a number of charming shops, including a butchers, the famous Suggitts ice cream shop, cafes, restaurants and bars. The Captain Cook Schoolroom Museum is located in the former school of the great explorer Captain James Cook who grew up in the village. The village has a beautiful 12th century church and the Cook family graves can be found in the churchyard. The area is perfect for exploring with the North Yorkshire Moors on your doorstep and is 10 miles south of Middlesborough with shopping centre and 15 miles from the Yorkshire coast with miles of sandy beaches, the Cleveland Way is also within a short drive.
