Hyggeby Lodge, Yanwath is located on the popular Glendowlin Lodge Park, ideal for year-round breaks, offering peace and tranquillity amidst stunning surroundings. Explore the fells, enjoy horseback riding, or partake in water sports or a boat trip on Ullswater, all only a few minutes drive from the homely lodge. Located in an elevated corner of the park there are stunning views across the Eden Valley to the northern Pennines beyond and glimpses of Blencathra to the west. With green credentials this lodge has a low carbon footprint and encourages green tourism.

The lodge is kept warm and cosy with heat pump heating and a wood burning stove. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area has a large L shaped leather sofa positioned around a wood-burning stove, wide screen Sony digital TV, DVD, video, Humax video recorder and stereo/radio, together with numerous books and videos to keep you entertained. The dining table is positioned in the bay window, enjoy a leisurely evening meal or gather the family to play one of the board games provided. Patio doors provide access to a sunny conservatory with seating, linger with a morning coffee or watch the kids playing in the garden. Rustle up a family feast in the well-equipped kitchen with electric oven, induction hob, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher and microwave. Freshen up before retiring for the night in the shower room with hand basin and WC. The spacious master double bedroom with en-suite shower room and twin bedroom both have a built in wardrobe and there is a bunk bedroom best suited to children.

All electric, bed linen, towels and logs provided. Private parking for 2 cars. Cot and highchair available. The lodge is surrounded by lawned gardens, bounded by hedges and contains a number of small trees. There is access along the north-west side to one adjacent property, but other than that it is very private. Most of the garden is level, although there is a steeply sloping area to the northern end, a charcoal BBQ is available for guests use.
