Why do we love Grasmere? Here at Cumbrian Cottage Holidays we are locals and enjoy staying in all the locations where we offer cottages. Wordsworth once called Grasmere ‘the loveliest spot that man hath ever found’ and we’re tempted to agree with him! The iconic scenery surrounding Grasmere is breathtaking and has to be seen to be believed. With the Grasmere lake to the south, Grey Crag to the East, and Helm Crag to the North, it really feels like you are in the midst of nature in Grasmere.
