The first floor, centrally located, apartment, Bakers Retreat Grasmere, was once home to the village baker who worked in the bakery shop below, both are now cosy homes away from home. The open plan living area offers spacious, comfy accommodation for a family or 2 couples, relax in front of the TV in the lounge whilst gazing out of the picture window to the views of Helm Crag. Prepare a mouth watering meal in the well equipped kitchen before gathering around the dining table to enjoy the feast and linger over a glass of wine whilst you plan tomorrows adventures.

The accommodation is gas centrally heated and comprises: Spacious living area with comfy leather sofas positioned around the TV and electric stove effect fire with views through the picture windows to Helm Crag. The modern well equipped kitchen has everything needed to prepare a delicious meal including an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave, there is also an island breakfast table. The dining table is positioned in front of the window to enjoy views of Helm Crag whilst the family gathers to enjoy dinner, play games or linger over coffee and plan their days adventure. The double and twin bedroom each has en-suite shower rooms with hand basin and WC.

All gas, electric, ben linen and towels provided. There is Wi-Fi throughout the cottage. A parking permit for a nearby car park is provided.

PLEASE NOTE: Bakers Rest sleeps 8, out of season it is rented as a 2 bedroom cottage under the name of Bakers Retreat, guests booking Bakers Retreat will only have access to the first floor accommodation, the second floor bedrooms will be locked.
