The cottage is equipped with everything needed to enjoy a self catering holiday, rustle up your favourite meal in the well equipped kitchen then head to the local pub to enjoy local craft ales. Lazy sunny days can be enjoyed in the patio area, dine al fresco or enjoy the soothing bubbles of the hot tub, after dark the stars put on a magical twinkling show. The cottage is located at the foot of Black Combe with magnificent views from the summit, on a clear day you can see across to the Isle of Man, Scotland and Wales. Silecroft also has one of Cumbria’s finest beaches within walking distance and is also on the British coastal path popular with visitors to the area. Sledbank Cottage In The Hill has under floor heating throughout. The warm and cosy, oak beamed lounge has a comfy leather sofa and armchair positioned around the wood burning stove and Smart TV, perfect for snuggling on chilly evenings whilst watching your favourite programmes. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to rustle up a delicious meal including an electric oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, larder size fridge/freezer and microwave, which can be enjoyed on the dining table in the lounge, alfresco in the garden or at the breakfast bar in the kitchen.

On the first floor you will find the bedroom with beams in a vaulted ceiling and super king size bed which can be converted to twin beds on request. Luxurious bathroom with roll top bath, separate walk in shower cubicle, hand basin and WC.

The La’al Ratty takes you from Ravenglass to Eskdale where you can take a stroll to Stanley Ghyll Waterfall.
