Raven Howe Sebergham nestle in 5 acres of landscaped grounds with woodland and lake features, just off the B5305, a 5 minute drive from Caldbeck. Once a farmstead, Sebergham Cottages is now a range of luxurious cottages sleeping from 2 to 12 people in individual cottages or larger groups over the 10 fully equipped holiday cottages each with its own private hot tub. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay truly memorable no matter what your age, with an outdoor children’s play park, outdoor games for all the family and an indoor games room with pool, table tennis and table football, no matter what the weather the children will be entertained. The cottages are luxuriously equipped and offer the latest technologies including smart TVs, DAB/CD/Bluetooth hi-fi units and complimentary wi-fi. Guests have complimentary access to North Lakes Hotel spa with swimming pool and ultra modern gym bike hire is available locally for your stay.

Perfect for a family or 2 couples the cottage is upside down style and can be rented together with Round Knott to sleep 10 people, ideal for 2 families wanting to holiday together but still retain some privacy.

The electric central heated cottage comprises: First floor: Open plan lounge/kitchen/dining room with comfy leather sofas around the wood burning stove, smart TV, a Bluetooth music player with CD and DAB radio access to the balcony with hot tub. Kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave.

Ground floor: Double bedroom. Twin bedroom. Bunk bedroom with full size bunk beds. Bathroom with bath, hand basin and WC.

All electric, bed linen, towels and logs provided. Ample private parking. Patio with garden furniture and hot tub on the balcony.

Caldbeck nestles in the northern Lake District at the back of Skiddaw, hence the locals calling the area ‘Back o’ Skiddaw’, with the towering mountain separating Keswick from Caldbeck. Caldbeck is a picturesque, traditional Lakeland fell village with duck pond, village inn serving locally sourced food and ales and a coffee shop offering afternoon teas and a range of delicious ice creams. John Peel, the famous huntsman of the 1700’s was born just outside of Caldbeck and the area maintains many links to his hunting heritage with the village church being his final resting place. The Caldbeck fells offer walkers the opportunity to explore the less frequented parts of the Lake District but still promises stunning vistas, Bassenthwaite Lake and Derwentwater along with the Solway Coast are just a few of the views you can expect to see on your adventures. Hesket Newmarket and Uldale are both within a 10 minute drive and have their own village inns and Bassenthwaite and Lake Ullswater are both a 20 minute drive. Caldbeck is a short drive from Carlisle, Penrith and Keswick for those who enjoy retail therapy and is the perfect base from which to explore the northern Lake District, Eden Valley and Hadrian’s Wall.
