Old Bakers Cottage Grasmere, in a bygone era was the village bakery, now it provides a comfortable and spacious retreat from which to enjoy a Lake District escape. Perfect for two couples or a family the cottage is all ground floor and only minutes’ walk from the village green with shops, restaurants and bars on the doorstep, ideal for those who have limited mobility or those looking for a central base in Grasmere. The spacious living room has comfy seating to relax and unwind after your days adventures and the well equipped kitchen has everything needed to rustle up a feast which can be enjoyed around the dining table or in the courtyard tucked away at the rear of the cottage.

The cottage has electric radiators throughout and comprises: Open plan lounge/dining area has views to Helm Crag, comfy seating is placed around the feature fireplace with stove effect fire and TV. The dining table is a place to linger with a morning cuppa while you plan your days adventures. With everything needed to make a delicious meal the kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. There is a handy utility room, perfect for drying off wet coats and boots and has a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. Double bedroom with en-suite shower room, hand basin and WC. The second double bedroom has a king size bed which can convert to twin beds on request, there is also an en-suite bathroom with separate shower cubicle, hand basin and WC.

All electric, bed linen, towels and a parking permit for the nearby car park provided. Courtyard with furniture. Cot available.
