Little Parrock Grasmere nestles at the foot of Helm Crag on the outskirts of Grasmere and provides spacious, modern, well equipped, accommodation for families or friends holidaying together with stunning Lakeland fell views from every room. The large garden is perfect for children and dogs to play knowing they are safely enclosed within the grounds. With 5 bedrooms the cottage lends itself to friends or families gathering to holiday or celebrate together, after your days adventure, relax in the lounge where the open fire will keep you warm and cosy on chilly evenings. The spacious kitchen and dining area brings everyone together to enjoy delicious home cooked meals or to plan your day ahead over a cuppa. Grasmere village is a 10 minute walk away with shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs, and fell walks can be enjoyed right from the door over Helm Crag (known locally as the Lion and the Lamb), Steel Crag, Gibson Knott and Calf Crag.

The spacious oil centrally heated cottage comprises: Lounge with comfy sofas around the open fire and TV with Sky package. Spacious kitchen/dining room with wood burning stove, dining table and kitchen with central isle and well equipped with two electric ovens, induction hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave. Shower room with waterfall shower, hand basin and WC. Entrance vestibule with ample space to store boots and coats.

First floor: Five bedrooms, two have king size beds, one double bedroom, a triple bedroom with 3 single beds and a single bedroom. The family bathroom has a claw foot bath, separate shower cubicle, hand basin and WC.

All oil, electric, logs, bed linen and towels provided. Wi-Fi available. Cot and highchair available. Ample private parking. Two small well behaved dogs (downstairs only) welcome. Enclosed lawned garden with garden furniture and BBQ.

Located in the heart of the Lake District, the picturesque village of Grasmere lies south of Keswick and north of Ambleside and Windermere, making it an ideal base from which to explore the Lakes. With shops, bars, restaurants, cafes and art galleries the village caters for everyone, especially with the number of walks that can be taken right from the door and the close proximity of the lake named after the village, Grasmere. Grasmere is the gateway to the Langdale Valley where some of the best challenging walks are waiting for you or for something less demanding there are low level walks around Grasmere and Rydal Water, Rydal Cave is a must, especially if you have children with you. Home to William Wordsworth, Dove Cottage is now a popular attraction with visitors exploring a bygone era and no visit to Grasmere is complete without visiting the Grasmere Gingerbread shop for a sweet treat.
