Carrock Hall has it all, the Georgian hall has been lovingly restored by the current owners to provide opulent living accommodation but maintaining its original charm and character. Guests can enjoy the games room with pool table, drinks in the orangery, relax in front of a roaring log burning stove or in the outdoor copper bath tub. The hall has 6 en-suite bedrooms, including a dorm room with 3 bunk beds perfect for the children and a ground floor bedroom with wet room for those who find stairs challenging. Carrock Hall has views across the mature 3 acre lawned garden bordered by mature shrubs and walking or cycling from the door can be enjoyed over the rolling countryside. The village inn is a 5 minute walk for evenings when you don’t want to cook or to enjoy an evening out.

This truly is the home from home where Lords and Ladies will not feel out of place and perfect for guests to get together for special celebrations or for several families or a group of friends to escape daily life and enjoy a little luxury together.

Heated with oil central heating and cosy open fires the Hall comprises: Spacious drawing room with sofas to sink into all perfectly positioned to view the 65” TV with full Sky package, Netflix and Amazon Prime, a cosy log burning stove set in the feature fireplace.

Challenge each other to pool in the games room or keep the children entertained with one of the board games, puzzles or games console.

Lounge with comfy L shaped sofa in front of the fireplace with open fire and TV or sit in the huge dormer window with a best selling novel with views out of the garden.

The Orangery is a beautifully restored space with a chequerboard marble floor and has views over the garden, the perfect room to finish your day in with a fun kitch bar space.

The spacious dining kitchen has a floor to ceiling glass wall to make the most of the view over the garden and is flooded with natural light from the roof lantern above, the French farmhouse style table comfortably seats 16 people, there are a number of comfy sofas to relax in while keeping an eye on dinner being prepared.

The kitchen has everything needed to prepare a delicious meal with a breakfast bar around the central island, it has two electric ovens, nine burner gas hob, fridge, freezer, two dishwashers, microwave, Nespresso machine with pods provided. Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The ground floor double bedroom with king size Hypnos bed and en-suite wet room with separate toilet.

The first floor spacious master double bedroom with super king size Hypnos bed, traditional roll top bath on the balcony off the bedroom and en-suite shower room. Second double bedroom has a king size Hypnos bed, copper roll top bath, seating area and en-suite shower room. Third double bedroom with king size Hypnos bed, cast iron roll top bath and en-suite shower room. Twin bedroom with en-suite shower room with separate WC. Children’s dorm room sleeping 6 with 3 bunk beds and en-suite bathroom.

All utilities, logs, bed linen and towels provided. Welcome hamper on arrival. Ample private parking. 3 acres of fenced garden, mostly laid to lawn which is screened with mature shrubs around the border and tables and chairs on the terrace seating 16 people perfect for al fresco dining. The patio area has an outdoor copper tub for 4 people and fire pit.

Castle Carrock nestles in the Cumbrian countryside east of Carlisle at the foot of the Pennines. The village itself has an award winning pub, The Duke of Cumberland, delicious home cooked meals and local ales can be enjoyed. The village is surrounded by rolling countryside, the beauty spots of Talkin Tarn and Castle Carrock reservoir are both close by. The market town of Brampton is a 10 minute drive with shops, bars and restaurants, or head to the County capital Carlisle for a night at the cinema, shopping at the Lanes or explore the historical Castle and Cathedral. If historical sites are of interest Hadrian’s Wall and Lanercost Priory are both within a short drive. The Lake District is just over an hours drive away as is Newcastle with its cosmopolitan night life and the Metro Centre at Gateshead for all your designer brand shops.
