Ellen Brow, Bowness-on-Windermere

We really want to keep this one a secret, otherwise everyone will want to stay here, but Ellen Brow has views to Lake Windermere from the lounge and is literally a stones throw from the main thoroughfare of Bowness.  If you can tear yourself away from the sparkling lake view you can relax in the lounge or in the rear garden.  With ample private parking the bungalow is located a 2 minute walk from the shops, bars, restaurants and Lake Windermere where you can feed the ducks or take a cruise round the lake, hop off and explore Lakeside and Ambleside. Once inside the bungalow is all on one level, however it is accessed by a number of steps, so guests must be able to manage these.  A feature of Ellen Brow popular with families holidaying with grandparents is the annex with bedroom and shower room, a chance for grandparents to recharge their batteries away from the grandchildren but still close enough to join in with all   the fun when ready.  There is a further double and twin bedroom and family bathroom with corner bath and shower cubicle.
