The River Eden runs through the bottom of the village which also has a playground and heated outdoor swimming pool with on-site refreshments in the summer months, providing great spots for water fun and sunbathing on lazy summer days.

The lounge has comfy seating positioned around the wood burning stove and a Smart TV and DVD player where you can catch up on the latest Netflix (login using your own account) or utilize the DVD collection. Relax in the sitting room with a selection of books and board games, watch your favourite TV program or make your own music at the piano. There is a small enclosed lawned garden to the front of the house and large terraced garden to the rear with magnificent views across the rooftops to the Pennines, lawns, decking with patio table and chairs as well as a lit covered area. Please note that the being terraced the garden contains many steps and may not be accessible to those with mobility issues.
