The cottage retains many traditional features including beams and exposed brick work, yet provides a contemporary and cosy home from home. With the living area being on the first floor to take advantage of the open countryside views, staying in to admire the view will definitely be on your list of things to do. With a garden, shared with the owner who lives next door, and seating, finish your day with a glass of wine whilst watching the sun set over the fells and admiring the view of the countryside which goes on for miles. The nearby village of Stainton has a shop and pub serving locally sourced bar meals and is less than a mile away.

Stonefold Cottage has 2 ground floor bedrooms, a double and single, both are furnished with pine furniture and colourful bedding. The modern family bathroom has a shower over the bath, hand basin and WC, perfect for a quick freshen up or a relaxing bubble bath.

The open plan first floor has a vaulted ceiling and canopy of beams. The comfy leather sofas are perfectly placed around the Freeview TV to ensure you can still watch your favourite shows. The kitchen area is equipped to rustle up a meal with electric cooker, fridge and microwave. Linger with your morning cuppa at the dining table and plan your days adventure.

The cottage has oil central heating, provides all linen and towels. There is private parking for 1 car and shared use (with the owner) of the garden with seating and views across the fells and Eden Valley. Sorry this cottage does not accept children under 5.
