Sparrows Nest Yanwath is located on Glendowlin Lodge Park, ideal for year-round breaks, offering peace and tranquillity amidst stunning surroundings. Explore the fells, enjoy horseback riding, or partake in water sports at nearby sailing clubs, all only a few minutes drive from the homely lodge.

The lodge is accessed via 37 shallow steps and as a result gives views over the park to the distant mountains, it is kept warm and cosy with electric heating and a wood burning stove. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area has comfortable seating around a wood-burning stove and Smart TV, patio doors open up onto the decking, linger with a morning coffee or watch the kids playing in the garden. Rustle up a family feast in the well-equipped kitchen with electric oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave.

Master double bedroom with king size bed and en-suite shower room, additional double and bunk bedroom, and a separate bathroom with shower over bath, hand basin and WC.

All electric, bed linen, towels and initial supply of logs provided. Private parking for 2 cars. Cot and highchair available. The lodge is dog friendly with 2 dogs welcome. The lodge boasts a large garden built into the hillside, enjoy a picnic or glass of wine at the picnic table and watch the neighbouring sheep going about their business.

PLEASE NOTE: This cottage has parking for 2 cars or 1 small van only, there is no additional parking on the site. Guests with additional vehicles will be asked to remove them from the site.
