Ryans Retreat Bowness on Solway is located in the centre of the village on the former site of the Roman Fort of Maia which was the second largest fort on Hadrian’s Wall and within a 5 minute walk of the sea front Bowness House Farm provides 4 self catering holiday cottages in the courtyard, the orchard is home to 4 shepherds huts and a luxurious 7 room bed and breakfast is in the old farmhouse. Guests have complimentary access to the fully equipped gym and breakfast is served in the onsite Bistro open for breakfast, lunch and dinner or to simply enjoy a refreshing drink.

​Surrounded by apple trees the 4 shepherd huts are accessed via a wooden staircase. Small and cosy but fully equipped to enjoy a relaxing break they each have a wood burning stove making them cosy all year round, a Belfast sink, fridge and micro oven/hob. There is a pull out dining table with seating and a comfy double bed with a bunk single bed above. There is also an en-suite shower room for added convenience.

Each hut has its own hot tub, picnic table, towels, supply of logs and complimentary access to the gym, breakfast can be added at a supplement. Private on site parking.
