Set around a cobbled courtyard and surrounded by gardens these 4 holiday cottages have been converted from the former farm buildings to provide stylish home from home accommodation in a tranquil setting. Nestled in the Eden Valley and surrounded by rolling countryside there are walks from the door to nearby villages, many with a village pub filled with friendly locals and real ales.

The once working 17th century farm has been sympathetically renovated by the current owners retaining original features that uniquely make up each cottage. The owners eco friendly ethos ensures everything is thought of to reduce their impact upon the environment whilst maintaining the stylish feel of the cottages. Each of the cottages has its own private garden area with outdoor table and chairs to allow al fresco dining and shared use of the main garden with seating subtly placed to enjoy the views or peace and quiet. Guests are invited to use the shared BBQ and laundry room with washer/dryer. The owners provide a warm welcome with some home made treats and flowers picked from the garden on arrival, they are on hand to help you make the most of your holiday and are happy to advise on places to visit, eat and drink.

Once the former main barn, Ravendale is now a stylish, characterful cottage perfect for larger families, for bringing grandparents with you or a group of friends holidaying together. The low windows and large arched façade add kerb appear from the outside but it is only when you enter the cottage the full character becomes evident.

The upside down style accommodations has 3 ground floor bedrooms, 2 double bedrooms and a twin bedroom that can convert to a king size bed (please advise at the time of booking. The main bathroom features a bath and separate shower cubicle and the second bathroom is a gorgeous walk in wet room with a drencher shower and under floor heating.

As you make your way to the first floor the true character of the cottage becomes apparent, high ceilings under a canopy of beams, low floor level windows perfect for children or dogs to admire the views over the courtyard and countryside combine with modern furnishings to provide a homely feel. Comfy seating is positioned around the cosy wood burning stove which keeps guests warm and cosy whilst catching up on the soaps or with a good novel. Patio doors and steps lead to the garden below, throw them open and watch the children playing from the lounge or take a cuppa and relax at the table on the patio below. Three steps lead to the dining kitchen, equipped to prepare a home cooked meal with electric oven, gas hob, fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Linger after dinner at the dining table and plan tomorrows adventures or play games with the children.

The cottage has all electric, gas, logs, bed linen and towels included. Cot and highchair available on request. Three medium sized dogs welcome. Private patio with table and chairs and access to a shared garden.
