Local history enthusiasts will enjoy exploring nearby attractions, including the waterfall at Corby Castle, the impressive 19th-century viaduct spanning the River Eden, and the remains of an ancient abbey within the village. The city of Carlisle is also close by, offering a castle, cathedral, shopping and a wide range of entertainment for all ages.
