The shores of Lake Windermere are less than a mile away, where you can board a lake cruise from Waterhead Pier and explore destinations including Bowness and Lakeside without needing to use the car.

The cottage is accessed via a forecourt leading into a welcoming hallway. The comfortable lounge provides a relaxing space for the whole family to gather, complete with Smart TV and wood-burning stove. The spacious dining kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dining table, linger after your meal with a coffee whilst planning your next adventure or enjoy family games. A separate utility room offers a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The first floor features three inviting bedrooms comprising a double, twin and single room, along with a family shower room. On the second floor, a spacious king-size bedroom benefits from its own en-suite bathroom with shower over bath.

Gas, electric, bed linen and towels are all included. A cot and highchair are available for younger guests, and two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Guests benefit from a parking permit for one car in a nearby car park, while secure bike storage is also available.
