Head to Allonby for a stroll along the sandy beach followed by fish and chips as the sun sets over the Solway Firth, explore the shops and cafés of Cockermouth, or spend the day in Keswick, where independent shops, welcoming pubs, restaurants and cruises on beautiful Derwentwater await. The western Lake District is within easy reach, while Carlisle offers shopping, history and culture with its castle, cathedral and museum.

After a day exploring, Croft Bungalow is a welcoming place to return to. Pour a glass of wine and relax on the patio while taking in the countryside views, or simply wander next door to the local pub, where a warm welcome awaits and you don't even need to take the car.

Approached through a pretty front garden with a pond the bungalow has a comfortable lounge with inviting sofas gathered around the Smart TV and gas fire – perfect for putting your feet up at the end of the day. The well-equipped kitchen has an electric oven, halogen hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine, along with a dining area where everyone can come together over breakfast or an evening meal. When it's time to retire, there are three bedrooms, comprising two doubles and a bunk bedroom. Each bedroom has its own TV, ideal for lazy mornings or when everyone wants to watch something different. A modern shower room with a walk-in shower cubicle and hand basin completes the accommodation.

Outside, the beautifully tended front and rear gardens provide plenty of opportunity to enjoy the peaceful setting. The rear garden has a furnished patio, perfect for al fresco meals on warmer days while admiring the surrounding countryside.
