The well-equipped kitchen includes an electric oven and hob, American-style fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine. Meals can be enjoyed in the separate dining room, where you can relax in front of the wood burner, sip your morning coffee on the sofa, or gather the family for games and meals. A convenient ground-floor cloakroom adds extra practicality.
Upstairs, four comfortable bedrooms await. As you climb the staircase, a large stained-glass window floods the space with natural light. The master bedroom features a king-size bed and TV, while three additional double bedrooms offer restful nights for all. The family bathroom includes a bath, separate shower cubicle, and WC.
Gas, electricity, bed linen, and towels are all included (bring your own logs). Sorry there is no cot or highchair available. There is private parking for 1 car in front of the garage and ample on-street parking. The enclosed garden is mainly lawned and includes outdoor seating.

The historic border City of Carlisle is located just 9 miles from the Scottish Border making it a great base from which to explore northern England, the Scottish Borders, the Lake District and trips to Newcastle are just over an hours drive. The city has one of the best preserved Castles in the UK which is steeped in history having defended the city against the Scots for many years and Mary Queen of the Scots was once imprisoned here. There are numerous attractions to visit including the cathedral, Tullie House Museum, along with family entertainment including a trampoline park, cinema, soft play centres to name a few. With 3 rivers running through the city, river walks are only minutes away, and there are a number of parks including Bitts Park and Rickerby Park for picnics and ball games. There are 2 golf courses within a short drive and the Sands Centre offers alternative leisure facilities. The lakes and mountains are within a short drive with Ullswater being less than an hours drive. The Solway Coast is an hour away for beach days and Gretna Green famous for eloping couples and the outlet village of Gretna Gateway is half an hour away.
