A convenient ground-floor cloakroom adds extra practicality.
Upstairs, four comfortable bedrooms await. As you climb the staircase, a large stained-glass window floods the space with natural light. The city has one of the best preserved Castles in the UK which is steeped in history having defended the city against the Scots for many years and Mary Queen of the Scots was once imprisoned here. There are numerous attractions to visit including the cathedral, Tullie House Museum, along with family entertainment including a trampoline park, cinema, soft play centres to name a few. With 3 rivers running through the city, river walks are only minutes away, and there are a number of parks including Bitts Park and Rickerby Park for picnics and ball games. There are 2 golf courses within a short drive and the Sands Centre offers alternative leisure facilities. The lakes and mountains are within a short drive with Ullswater being less than an hours drive. The Solway Coast is an hour away for beach days and Gretna Green famous for eloping couples and the outlet village of Gretna Gateway is half an hour away.
