With a canopy of beams, a warm and welcoming wood burning stove, sunny garden and private parking, the cottage ticks many boxes for couples looking for a base from which to enjoy a romantic escape within easy distance of the many attractions. The popular bistro 1863 is a 2 minute walk and the shops, pubs and cafes are a 5 minute walk.
The cottage offers kerb appeal with access through a picket gate to the cottage garden. Once inside it does not disappoint, the comfortable lounge oozes character with overhead beams, wood burning stove and comfy seating arranged around the TV. Enjoy a mouthwatering feast at the table positioned in front of the window, gaze out at the stunning scenery as you tuck into dinner. Patio doors give access to the rear garden with outdoor table and chairs, with open aspect this is the perfect spot to enjoy the last of the days sunshine with a glass of wine. The kitchen is equipped to rustle breakfast, lunch and dinner with electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave and dishwasher.
The beams continue to the first floor where the inviting spacious bedroom has a comfy king size bed and seats to gaze out over the rooftops to the fells beyond. Freshen up before retiring for the day in the bathroom with under floor heating to keep your toes felling cosy with double shower cubicle, hand basin and WC.
The cottage includes all electric, logs, bed linen and towels. Private parking for 1 car. Garden with open views to the fells, patio and seating. Sorry the cottage is not suitable for infants.

Visit the historic Dalemain Mansion & Gardens, a Grade I listed building surrounded by stunning gardens only a 10 minute drive away.
