Barn Owl Cottage Lindale is full of character with traditional beams and vaulted ceiling which effortlessly combine with bright, comfy, modern furniture to provide a relaxing base to enjoy a family holiday. Located in the Lake District National Park there are lakes and walks along some of the best fells for you to explore within a short drive. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday a beach day at Grange over Sands is only minutes away or step outside to enjoy the private enclosed patio area where you can dine al fresco. The cottage is close to The Royal Oak, a traditional inn serving delicious meals for the nights when you don’t want to prepare a meal in the well equipped kitchen.
The upside down style cottage is gas centrally heated and comprises: Ground floor double with door opening onto the garden, and bunk bedroom best suited to children with adult size bunk beds. Bathroom with shower over bath, hand basin and WC. The hall houses a washing machine.
The first floor open plan living area has a vaulted ceiling, beams and comprises comfy sofas and chairs around the Smart TV with DVD player, dining table. Kitchen equipped with gas oven and hob, microwave and fridge.
All gas, electric, bed linen and towels provided. Cot and highchair available. Wi-Fi available. Private parking for 1 car. Enclosed lawned garden with patio and furniture.

The village is only 2 miles from Grange over Sands with its Edwardian promenade lined with shops and Cartmel, famous for its sticky toffee pudding, race course and L’Enclume Michelin starred restaurant, is 4 miles away. Lake Windermere is 5 miles, head to Lakeside and enjoy a trip over the lake to Windermere or Ambleside, visit the Lakes Aquarium or enjoy a steam train journey to Haverthwaite or try one of the many watersports on offer around the lake. There are a number of stately homes close by including Holker Hall, Levens Hall and Sizergh Castle.
