Tarn Hows Apartment Coniston is a spacious first floor apartment in a secluded part of the village. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the mountain walks right from the door including The Old Man of Coniston, Wetherlam and Swirl How all within 3.5 miles and with the shores of Coniston Water less than half a mile away watersports such as kayaking, canoeing and sailing are easily accessible. The apartment benefits from a sunny shared garden with the neighbouring apartment with colourful flowers and garden furniture the perfect place to relax on a summers evening with a glass of wine after a day on the fells.

The apartment has a shared ground floor reception area where the Laundry Room with washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities is located. The first floor apartment is accessed via the hallway with space for boots and coats, there is also a trouser press. The spacious lounge is light and airy, with a homely feel, perfect for enjoying time together after a day exploring the lakes. The comfy sofas are positioned around the TV with DVD player and electric effect wood burning stove, which supplements the central heating as required. The kitchen/diner has everything needed to rustle up a delicious meal with electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Linger with your morning coffee at the dining table whilst you plan the day’s activities. The apartment has 2 en-suite double bedrooms, the first with a four poster bed and en-suite bathroom with shower over bath, hand basin and WC. The second bedroom has a super king size double bed and en-suite shower room with walk in shower cubicle, hand basin and WC.

All gas, electric, bed linen and towels included. Cot and highchair available. Private undercover parking for 2 cars (please note there is height restrictions). Lockable bike store available. Shared use of the garden with garden furniture.

Coniston is a popular holiday destination known for its stunning natural beauty and outdoor activities. Located near Coniston Water, which is the third-longest lake in the Lake District offering lake cruises and water sport opportunities. The lake is surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery, making it a picturesque spot for boating, kayaking and fishing. The area is especially popular with walkers and outdoor enthusiasts due to its location at the foot of one of Cumbria's most popular mountains, the Old Man of Coniston. There are numerous hiking trails and paths that offer breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

In and around Coniston Village, you'll find a range of attractions to explore. The village itself is packed with friendly pubs, local shops, including a grocer, bakery and butcher, where you can find everything you need for your stay. There are also shops, cafes and restaurants where you can relax and enjoy the local cuisine.

With connections to famous figures such as John Ruskin and Donald Campbell. You can visit the Ruskin Museum to learn more about the area's heritage and see the jet hydroplane Bluebird, now returned to Coniston where it set 4 World Water Speed Records, before tragically crashing in January 1967. The Campbells always stayed with the Robinson Family whenever they were in Coniston.
