The lodge is accessed via 37 shallow steps and as a result gives views over the park to the distant mountains, it is kept warm and cosy with electric heating and a wood burning stove. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area has comfortable seating around a wood-burning stove and Smart TV, patio doors open up onto the decking, linger with a morning coffee or watch the kids playing in the garden. Rustle up a family feast in the well-equipped kitchen with electric oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave.

Master double bedroom with king size bed and en-suite shower room, additional double and bunk bedroom, and a separate bathroom with shower over bath, hand basin and WC.

All electric, bed linen, towels and initial supply of logs provided. Private parking for 2 cars. Cot and highchair available. The lodge boasts a large garden built into the hillside, enjoy a picnic or glass of wine at the picnic table and watch the neighbouring sheep going about their business.

While Yanwath is set back from the bustling Lake Ullswater, it remains easily accessible, allowing guests to explore the lakeside shops, pubs, and restaurants within a few minutes' drive.

As you explore Lake Ullswater, meander through picturesque villages and hamlets, each offering unique attractions such as art galleries and pubs with microbreweries serving local ales.
