Overview

Neaum Crag Lodge is nestled near the entrance of the estate, ideal for a family or couple looking for a holiday where they can reconnect with nature. Surrounded by woodland but with scenic views to Skelwith Bridge, it is an ideal base for those looking for countryside adventures with walks from the door. Access is by a number of steps, so it may not be suitable for those who struggle with stairs, but once inside the cosy lodge is all on one level and is equipped with everything needed for a relaxing break. The lodge has its own sunny patio area with table and chairs for lazy days or unwinding on an evening with a glass of wine. Neaum Crag offers woodland walks and has a swimming pool with sauna, a table tennis area and easy seating for guest use. Within a 5 minute walk is a pub serving local ales and the renowned Chester’s Tea Room with a take away bakery.

The lodge has electric heating throughout and has an open plan living area. The lounge is flooded with light through the French doors which lead to the patio area and comfy sofas and armchairs are positioned in front of the Smart TV. The kitchen is modern and well equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge with a freezer compartment and slimline dishwasher. The dining table seating 4 is perfect for enjoying a home cooked meal or lingering with a morning cuppa whilst you plan your days adventure together. The double bedroom has built in wardrobes and views over the patio. The small bunk bedroom is ideal for children. The modern family shower room has shower cubicle, Bluetooth mirror, hand basin and WC.

All electric, bed linen and towels are included. Private parking for 2 cars. Patio with table and chairs. Access to the onsite swimming pool and shared laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Neaum Crag Lodges are located close to Skelwith Bridge and have numerous walks right from the door. Enjoy leisurely walks following the River Brathay to Elterwater where you will find the Britannia Inn serving local ales and mouthwatering meals. Ambleside with shops, bars, restaurants and visitor attractions is a 45 minute walk via Loughrigg Tarn and Loughrigg Fell. Within a 10 minute walk the “Langdale Rambler” bus route has an hourly service allowing guests to explore the surrounding area without the need of their car. The popular tourist destinations of Grasmere, Ambleside, Windermere and Coniston are all within a short drive, enjoy lake cruises, museums, art galleries and boutique shopping before returning to the tranquil setting of Neaum Crag.

Please note the price is based on 2 people there is a supplement of £100 per week for the bunk bedroom.
