Long Byre Cottage Greenhead is a stone built cottage, its contemporary open plan living space provides a luxurious home from home feel. The area is the perfect base from which to enjoy a peaceful break away at any time of year and the ambience of the cottage lends itself to a tranquil, romantic escape. After a day exploring the local countryside return to the cottage where you can relax in the secluded garden before enjoying a relaxing soak in the hot tub surrounded by the warm bubbles. There is a pub and tea room both less than a mile away for days you prefer not to cook at home. The cottage is located next door to Hadrians Wall Cottage sleeping 8 and parking is in the shared courtyard. Rent both cottages to sleep up to 12 people.
As you enter the cottage the open plan living space immediately invites you to relax and soak up the quiet charm of the cottage. Patio doors giving access to the garden flood the room with natural light and the plump corner sofa is positioned in front of the TV, a second settee converts into a sofa bed for additional guests use. The modern kitchen is equipped to rustle up a romantic meal for 2 with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There is also a handy shower room on the ground floor with walk in shower cubicle, hand basin and WC. As evening descends head to the first floor bedroom under a vaulted ceiling with king size bed and en-suite bathroom with corner bath with shower attachment, hand basin and WC.
