The bungalow is tucked away in a quiet cul de sac, leave the car parked up and take the short 200 yard walk to the heart of the bustling village of Bowness where you will find shops, pubs, restaurants, attractions including the Beatrix Potter Exhibition or walk to the lake shore and take a lake cruise to Lakeside or Ambleside to explore a different part of the Lake District.

The bungalow is accessed by a few steps, then all on one level, has gas central heating and comprises: Lounge with picture window with view to Lake Windermere, Freeview TV, comfy leather sofas and a selection of books. Breakfast kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave. Master bedroom with king size bed and views to Lake Windermere. Twin bedroom. Bathroom with corner bath, shower cubicle, hand basin and WC. Rear hallway leading to annex with double bedroom and shower room with hand basin and WC.

All gas, electric, bed linen and towels included. Cot available. Garage for 1 car and parking for 1 car . Patio garden with garden furniture and communal gardens leading to children’s play park.

Combine the natural surroundings with the numerous boutique and outdoor shops, art galleries, restaurants with cuisine from around the globe and traditional pubs serving local ales and delicious pub grub and you have the recipe for the perfect holiday. Bowness on Windermere is perfectly based to explore Ambleside, Grasmere, the Langdales, Coniston and Kendal, leave the car at home and explore the area by public transport or head further afield on the train.
