Beckside Gardens Brampton is a modern semi detached house on a small private residential estate in the bustling market town of Brampton with shops, cafes and pubs within walking distance. With the benefit of an enclosed lawned garden the children can safely play while you prepare lunch ready to eat al fresco. Brampton has a train station serving the town, head to Carlisle or Newcastle for days out without the need of a car. Perfect for a family or couple looking for a base from which to explore the delights of Cumbria and the Scottish Borders with the benefit of being away from the ‘madding crowds’ of the Lake District, yet within easy access, ensuring a peaceful escape from day to day living. Head to Talkin Tarn passing Brampton Golf Course on the way to enjoy a walk around the tarn or ice cream at the café. Water sports including canoeing, paddle boarding and fishing are available subject to license.
Beckside Gardens has gas central heating and is accessed via the welcoming entrance porch. The lounge is perfect for relaxing with comfy seating in front of the electric fire and Smart TV, catch up on the soaps or the latest Netflix series. Rustle up a feast in the well equipped breakfast kitchen equipped with electric oven and gas hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine, slimline dishwasher and microwave. The conservatory, overlooking the garden, is flooded with natural light making it ideal for unwinding with a good novel whilst the children play outside.
As evening descends freshen up in the family bathroom with shower over bath, hand basin and WC before retiring for the evening. The master bedroom has a king size bed with pristine bedding, the second bedroom is furnished with twin beds.
All gas, electric, bed linen and towels provided. Private parking for 2 cars. Cot available. One dog is welcome with treats provided, but must be kept in the kitchen and not given access to the rest of the house. Lawned garden with patio and garden furniture.
Brampton is a charming town just off the A69 Carlisle to Newcastle road. Talkin Tarn County Park is on the doorstep for walks around the tarn, stop off at the boathouse café for home made treats, hire a rowing boat or join in with some of the organised events with Tarn Adventures. The historic World Heritage Site of Hadrian's Wall is a short drive, discover a by gone era at one of the Roman museums and reenact being a Roman soldier as you march along the wall admiring the breathtaking scenery as you go. This picturesque town has boutique shops, cafes and pubs serving hearty meals and local ales. The historic city of Carlisle is a 20 minute drive with shopping centre, museum, Castle, Cathedral and restaurants followed by nights on the town. Perfect as a base for exploring Cumbria and Southern Scotland, Lake Ullswater is less than an hours drive and the Solway Coast for lazy beach days and the Scottish Borders are less than 1.5 hours drive, discover charming villages, rich heritage and beautiful landscapes that span both England and Scotland. The cosmopolitan city of Newcastle and Metro Shopping Centre are a 40 minute drive east.
